Looking for Faculty Volunteers

The purpose of this research is to investigate the conditions of social presence that will increase the levels of student engagement in distance education. My research focuses on examining the common stigma associated with distance learning and the difficulties of establishing learning environments with robust social interactions, communication, and engagement. Social presence has been identified as a significant factor in regards to this issue and I hope to examine essential factors which may guide educators in developing engaging distance learning courses. I am asking for faculty volunteers of online/hybrid courses to distribute this survey link to their students. Please be assured all student responses are anonymous and confidential.
